This beer's brilliant golden color and pillowy head would satisfy King Ludwig II himself. Pilsner and Munich malts reveal their rich glory with notes of straw, grain, and light toffee riding on a surprisingly substantial mouthfeel. A very mild hop bitterness makes for great drinkability.
This robust amber-colored German ale is basically a beefed up version of a standard Altbier. Expect rich and complex malt flavor, firm hop bitterness, and a clean dry finish.
